1. Case Background
Our one Saudi Arabian client’s company needed to upgrade its headquarters conference room due to business expansion, aiming to create a space suitable for formal meetings, team collaboration, and business negotiations. The client provided the order request.
Key requirements included:
Accommodate over 20 people for large meetings, ensuring comfort and interaction for multiple attendees.
The style should match the company’s “professional, high-end, international” brand image and incorporate local cultural elements.
Prioritize durability, easy cleaning, and spatial aesthetics to enhance meeting efficiency and brand quality.
2. Solution Design
2.1 Conference Table Customization
Size and Shape: A custom extra-long rectangular conference table, approximately 6.5 meters in length and 1.4 meters in width. It features a built-in cable management channel in the center (for convenient power and network cable access for electronic devices) and a double-door storage cabinet at the bottom (for storing meeting materials and backup equipment), balancing practicality and tidiness.
Material and Craftsmanship: The tabletop uses E1-grade melamine board, offering scratch resistance and easy cleaning. The structure is highly stable (load-bearing capacity ≥ 500 kg), with rounded corners to prevent bumps and injuries.
Color Scheme: A walnut-colored tabletop paired with a light gray central section. This creates a “dark-light-white” layered effect with the white wainscoting on the walls, harmonizing visually with the black-and-white chairs.
2.2 Conference Chair Customization
Ergonomic Design: The chair back features an S-curve to fit the spine. High-density foam padding ensures comfort without sagging during long sittings. The chair back is finished with white baking paint. The chair base uses silent casters paired with an aluminum alloy and iron frame (ensuring smooth movement and a load-bearing capacity ≥ 120 kg).
Color: A black-and-white contrast scheme – black chair back (PU leather, stain-resistant and easy to clean) paired with the white baking paint backrest. This unifies the style with the conference table while enhancing the space’s dynamism.
Quantity and Layout: A total of 60 chairs are configured (20 high-back chairs and 40 mid-back chairs), ensuring visual balance and supporting flexible adjustments (e.g., temporarily reducing or increasing the number of attendees).
2.3 Overall Spatial Integration
The colors and materials of the conference table and chairs echo the “simple luxury” style of the wall wainscoting. The combination of dark wood grain and black-and-white leather elevates the space’s sense of sophistication.
Integrated with wall cultural portraits and honor display cabinets, the design creates a conference setting that combines “professionalism and cultural sensibility,” strengthening the corporate brand image.
